Ryecroft's House System
Each child is allocated to one of three Houses which meet regularly at an assembly where such matters as feedback from School Council, selection of teams, house duties, etc. are dealt with. The Houses compete against each other in school work and events and on the sports field. Each House elects Captains and Vice-Captains annually who, with the support of House staff, organise the activities of their House.
It is easy to identify which House pupils are in by the colour of their school tie.
Following our reward system, credit marks are awarded for particularly commendable effort, when pupils achieve personal success or when a child contributes to the general good and welfare of the school community. Ten credit marks are subsequently converted into one credit star presented at Celebration Assembly.
